The other day my iphone decided to start only charging on one side.

I m not sure if i ve got a defect or what but mine only works one way. In many cases when the pin becomes black one side of the lighting cable stops working. The phone or the cable. Before my iphone used to be able to charge either way you plugged it in now it only seems to accept only side for some reason.
